We will be aiming to swiftly deal with the business matters before Diane Brooke 's talk on 'Who would be King or Queen?'

Royal descents are fascinating because they are part of political history but also because they provide genealogical links into the far past. Who is of royal descent now, and who ‘should’ be monarch if various rules of descent were followed? And, can we connect with any royal lines in Wales, the British Isles, and beyond?

Our speaker: Dr Diane Brook

Dr Brook was born in the USA but has lived in Wales since 1969. She helped found the first family history society in Wales in 1974 and has written and lectured regularly on the subject since then. She has been tracing her own and her husband's families for decades and still has a few brick walls!

FOR non branch members: -
