Some of our members have been researching family history in Glamorgan since the early 1970s.
Their knowledge and experience is available to members via a range of sources.
We have transcribed and indexed the majority of the parish and chapel registers as well as memorial inscriptions for Glamorgan.

Approximately 1500 different publications are available to purchase including parish and chapel registers, school, military and poor law records. Our Publications
Our Resources Centre and Library at Aberkenfig contains all our Society records and publications plus local history material for Glamorgan and neighbouring counties. Aberkenfig Resource Centre
An index is available to the family trees deposited at our resource centre by many of our members.

At our seven branches who meet monthly at: Bridgend, Cardiff, Sully, Aberdare, Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil & Swansea. Branch Meetings
Our resource centre at Aberkenfig is open on the second and fourth Wednesday 10-2 where volunteers are available to help on a one to one basis.
Throughout the year experienced volunteers are available at workshops and events in Glamorgan and further afield.
