Branch News: an extraordinary meeting was held in February 2026 to decide whether the Branch would continue to meet as a Branch. After a detailed discussion about logistics and options, members decided to continue to function as a separate Branch. To advertise our meetings, we will continue to use Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/glamorganfhs and the calendar on the GFHS website. We are considering the possibility of having one meeting per month (on 2nd Tuesday afternoons) in the archives as before, and on alternate months having a Zoom meeting in the evening.
This first meeting in the new format will be in person and also will be available online via a Zoom link.
Location West Glamorgan Archives (new) Y Storfa, Oxford Street, Swansea, SA1 3EL
Note different starting time of 7pm, and for online viewing, please email the branch for the Zoom link, to maintain security.
