This is an opportunity to attend a previously recorded presentation with Darris G Williams from FamilySearch. Darris will be available for live questions at the end of the recording. This free session via Zoom is open to all who register.  

Darris' talk will start with an overview of reasons the Welsh left Wales and where they often settled in America. Online resources will be shown that will help you discover:

  • Place of origin in Wales
  • Departures from Wales (limited but some exist)
  • Passenger arrivals in America
  • Migration in America.

Our speaker: Darris G Williams

Darris works for FamilySearch managing the FamilySearch Wiki team. He is a freelance genealogist, and family history instructor. Darris is on the Board of Trustees of the Society of Genealogists.
